Good to know
Keep the reading line near the top third of the screen and the screen close to the lens: viewers notice eyes moving down more than eyes moving across.

Questions
How fast should a teleprompter scroll?
Most people speak 130 to 160 words a minute on camera; start at 140 and adjust with the arrow keys while it runs. The page shows how long the script takes at that pace.
Can I use it on my phone or tablet?
Yes: open the page, paste the script, tap Full screen and tap the text to start or pause. Put the phone right under the camera lens so your eyes stay near it.
What is mirror mode for?
Glass teleprompters reflect the screen, which flips the text. Mirror mode flips it back so it reads correctly in the glass.
Can I record myself while reading?
Yes: the screen recorder has the same prompter next to the camera, and it already has this script.
Does it follow my voice?
No: it scrolls at a steady pace you set (speech-following would mean sending your audio to a server). Pause and nudge it with the arrow keys when you go off script.
