About Cuescribe

Cuescribe is a set of small, focused tools for the parts of video work that eat time: getting a transcript, fixing subtitles, cutting a clip around the right sentence, getting the loudness right, lining up sound recorded on a separate device.

How it works

Almost everything runs inside your browser. When you transcribe a file, a speech model downloads once and runs on your own computer. When you export a clip, your computer renders it. That is why the tools are free, why there are no upload limits, and why your client footage never sits on someone else's server.

The exception is reading captions from a pasted link: our server asks the platform for that video's captions and passes them back to you. See privacy for exactly what that involves.

Who it's for

Creators, editors and filmmakers, and small businesses that make their own videos. If a step in your workflow is tedious and repetitive, it's probably on our list.
