Questions

Can I use the voiceover commercially, on a monetized channel?

The Kokoro model and its voices are released under the Apache 2.0 licence, which allows commercial use. Many hosted voice tools don't allow commercial use on their free plans.

Is there a character or monthly limit?

No. The model runs in your browser, so we pay nothing per word and don't limit it. Long scripts just take longer: on a typical laptop, about as long as the audio plays, or a bit more.

How big is the download?

About 90 MB the first time (the voice model), then it is cached by your browser.

Which languages?

American and British English today. The model knows a few more languages; they may come later.

Can it clone my voice?

No. It uses the built-in voices only.
