Questions
Why didn't my Instagram link work?
Needs the Cuescribe extension and an Instagram login in the same browser. Private accounts only work if you can see the post.
Can I download any Instagram video?
Download only videos you made or have permission to use. Re-uploading someone else's video can break copyright and the platform's rules.
Why does Instagram need the extension when TikTok doesn't?
Instagram only serves videos to logged-in browsers. A website can't log in for you (and shouldn't ask for your password), so the extension uses the session in your own browser.
Can I save Reels from a private account?
Only if your account can already see them. The extension sees what you see, nothing more.
Does it work for carousel posts?
Yes: every video in the post is listed as its own download. Photos are not included.
