Your account's safety what every run does
Platforms limit or block accounts that open many posts fast, and saving posts automatically is against Instagram's terms. With the extension, posts are read with your own logged-in accounts, so every run:

Questions
How many links can I download at once?
Up to 500 in a run. The first 20 links of every run are free; past 20 a run needs Pro, or 5 credits for each further 20 links, taken only as the run reaches them.
Why does it save one link at a time?
Platforms limit, and sometimes block, accounts that open many posts quickly. With the extension a run reads one post at a time at a person's pace, with a break of a minute or two every few dozen posts and a daily limit per platform. Through our server it is one post every few seconds, so the run isn't blocked half way.
Can saving posts in bulk get my account blocked?
It can, and we can't promise it won't. With the extension, posts are read with your own logged-in accounts, and Instagram's terms forbid collecting content automatically; a platform may limit, block or disable an account that does it, and Cuescribe is not responsible for what a platform does. Every run lowers the risk: a person's pace, breaks, at most 600 Instagram or Facebook posts a day in one browser, a wait and then a stop when a platform says slow down, and a stop at once when it asks you to confirm it's you. Start with small runs, and don't use the same account elsewhere during a run. Without the extension, TikTok, X and Facebook files come through our server and your accounts aren't used.
Can I download YouTube videos in a batch?
No. YouTube links in a list get their transcripts and covers (with the free extension) and a line in the spreadsheet, not the video file.
Do Instagram links work?
With the free Cuescribe extension: Instagram only shows posts to logged-in browsers, so the extension reads them from your own session. We never ask for your password.
Whose videos can I download?
Your own, or videos whose owner lets you. A batch is for backing up your work, collecting your client's posts with their permission, or saving clips you licensed. The download rules are in our terms.
