Compare TikToks side by side

Paste the links to your last few TikToks, or a rival's, and see them in one table: views, then likes, comments, shares and saves per 1,000 views, so a post with 20,000 views can be measured against one with two million. Sort by any column, download it as a CSV, or send it all to ChatGPT and ask what the best ones have in common. Five at a time are free; Pro compares up to 50 at once.

Paste links to two or more TikTok videos.

Good to know

The numbers are the ones TikTok shows on each post, so they change while people keep watching. Saves need the video page: when TikTok answers with its embed player, that post has none.

Questions

Where do the numbers come from?

From TikTok: the counts its app and website show under each video, read from the public video page when you press Compare. Nothing is estimated. When TikTok answers with its embed player instead, that post has no saves and its big counts are rounded, and the page says so.

Why per 1,000 views?

A post with two million views will have more likes than one with twenty thousand, whatever people thought of it. Dividing by views shows which posts people reacted to more, so a small account can be compared with a big one, and an old post with a new one.

How many TikToks can I compare?

Five at a time, free, as often as you like. Pro compares up to 50 at once. Our server looks the posts up one after another and takes 20 lookups a minute, so a long list takes a few minutes; the table fills in as they arrive.

What is in the hook column?

The first words spoken in each video, from TikTok's captions, when TikTok sends them with the numbers. Otherwise it shows the first line added with TikTok's text tool, or the start of the caption. For every word of every video, use bulk transcripts.

Can it tell me why some did better?

It shows the facts, not a guess. Press Ask ChatGPT: ChatGPT gets every post's numbers, length, sound, hook and caption, with a question asking what the best ones share, what to copy, what to avoid and which points are guesses. Nothing goes to ChatGPT until you press it.

Can I compare someone else's TikToks?

Yes, any public posts: these are the numbers TikTok shows everyone. Private and removed posts have none and are listed as not compared. Profile, sound and hashtag links are not videos: open each video and copy its link.

Is anything stored?

Our server reads each post from TikTok and keeps the answer for up to an hour, so the same link loads fast for the next person. It counts lookups, not who made them. Your list stays in this tab.
